Pro's Tip

This testing opening hole has out of bounds to the left for the length of the hole. The fairway mound on the right at 230 yards encourages an accurate drive left of centre of the fairway The Railway parallel to this hole was the last leg of London - Holyhead carriage of post to Ireland. Many a stray ball may have arrived in Dublin by train.
